Senior Finance Manager

We are currently partnering exclusively with a fantastic retail organisation based in Orpington.
The business is fast growing and boasts a turnover of over £200 million!
They are looking to hire a Senior Finance Manager to join their fast-growth business. This person will play a critical role in producing management accounts and working with budget holders across the business to understand and challenge costs, as well as the reporting of these.
The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Assist in producing management accounts with commentary and analysis against various scenarios, including P&L, B/S, cashflow and working capital
- Produce and post journals including accruals and prepayments
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and posting of corrections where necessary
- Liaise with budget owners to understand and challenge variances to plan
- Responsible for statutory returns including VAT and ONS submissions
- Assist in the preparation of the statutory accounts, audit deliverables and disclosure notes for the annual audit
- Support and drive continuous improvement via tech led automation to gain efficiencies in month end processing and reporting
The ideal Senior Finance Manager will need to demonstrate the following:
- Management Accounts experience
- Fully Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Expereince in fast-paced organisations
- Communication skills to be able to liaise with budget holders
- Excel skills
On offer for the Senior Finance Manager role in Orpington is a salary of up to £75,000 dependant on experience plus excellent benefits including shares in the business and more.
