We are pleased to be exclusively working on an outstanding opportunity to appoint a Director of People for a truly special business with a brilliant purpose based in Stratford-Upon-Avon. This is a brand new role to the business with so much scope for expansion as this SME plans to broaden their outreach. ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is a well renowned care giver to the elderly based across the West Midlands including Stratford-Upon-Avon. They have plans to double the business in the next 3 years and are putting in the infrastructure now to achieve this.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The role of Director of People is a newly created role as they are experiencing exponential growth. You will lead on all the strategic input pertaining to people development and growth.

The success of this social care business is because they have always put people at the heart of it. This role will now build on that with policies and processes that will support effective staff.

Included in this overarching aim are the following objectives:

• Creating a competitive pay and rewards programme for existing staff and those coming into the business
• Support the co-owners in creating a strategy with objectives that keep staff engaged in the overall vision of the company
• Provide support and a solution focused approach to the directors and senior management team on people queries

As the subject matter expert you will be in a critical position for the business both as the business is now and for what their growth plans are over the next 5 years.

You will be given the autonomy to create a business plan for people that will be commercial for the business and engaging to the workforce.

This is a hands on role and ideal for someone who has worked in the SME space previously.

YOUR PROFILE

To be considered for this Director of People role, you will have proven experience within a HR leadership role (Head of HR / Snr HR Business Partner) that has supported businesses in achieving their strategic goals; ideally within a commercially driven and entrepreneurial environment.

You will have a continuous improvement mindset and working knowledge of setting up a HR function in a small business.

You will have significant experience at HR Director level, ideally in the healthcare, hospice, social care, or charity sector.

Happy to work in their Stratford-Upon-Avon site.
